The citizens of Piacenza rated the management of the City Cemetery, and the outcome is very positive – full marks! On a 5-mark rating scale the City Cemetery service management scored 4.5, this emphasize the great appreciation of the visitors.

In the next days, you may come across our staff working with screwdrivers, hammers and wood boards: we are fixing the more than 300 benches in Turin Playgrounds! This action, to improve the quality of the city areas dedicated to kids, is part of the broader agreement with CICLAT in accordance to which Barbara B is to undertake the cleaning and litter picking in these areas. Barbara B is therefore glad to present this plan of bench refurbishing to the City of Turin.

Barbara B goes international with its first European contract! On November 1st, Barbara B undertook the green and ground maintenance service for the NHS in Humber area (East Yorkshire), this service will be carried out over the next four years in more than thirty heath care facilities in the area.

Over the last months, Barbara B has been taking care of green and ground maintenance for Venice cemeteries, and in the recent days when the city was hit by an exceptional high tide, Barbara B is committed with its local staff to the fully recovery and reopening of the cemeterial areas.

The Parco Giò playground of Michelotti park in Turin has been finally cleaned up. The playground now looks brand new thanks to the expert and patient work of Barbara B personnel. Consorzio CICLAT Ambiente nominated Barbara B to provide cleaning services for all playgrounds in the City of Turin on behalf of IREN AMIAT SpA.

In March 2019 Barbara B will become the official provider of the city of Venice. The new contract, signed with Barbara B, covers the ground and green maintenance of all cemeteries managed by the City of Venice and not only on the mainland, the Historic Cemetery on the isle of San Michele as well. A new technical and professional achievement for our Cooperative which will be under the public scrutiny in the next months. The contract aim is to employ workers with special needs, as prescribed by law (Legge 381/91), so thanks to our staff and in collaboration with local authorities we will be able to hire seven people with a particularly harsh social back-ground.
